Three Projects

This week I'm working on three projects. Cleaning the house and garage, or at least the insides of both. Vacuuming dead pill bugs and roaches and sawdust is one of those activities in life you never imagined doing when you were a kid. But it's somehow satisfying. The second project is stucco repair on the exterior of the house. Ten years of weathering have left the walls worse for the wear; now it's time to seal up the cracks and crevices with pre-mixed stucco. Spending eight bucks on this goop and doing the work myself sure beats paying a contractor hundreds of dollars in materials and labor. Once I have the sealing all done, I can look forward to repainting the outside of the house. I'll do that when my ship comes in. As for the third project, I concocted an idea to design a passenger seat table/storage area out of pallet wood so I can have a good place to put cameras, food, and maps while I'm roadtripping. Time for junior high wood shop classes to pay their dividends. Maybe Tim Tool Time Taylor has some episodes on DVD so I can do this up right. :)
