This weekend a fire started near Parker Canyon Lake. It has burned about 400 acres so far. As I was returning from Phoenix on Sunday (Mothers Day), I got a photo of the fire smoke over the Huachuca Mountains.
Of course, there is always more than one amazing thing going on...as I opened my hot tub cover to check the water temperature this morning, I saw a huge spider in on the water. I ran to get my camera. By the time I returned, the spider was using the floating thermometer as a life preserver. I released the spider on my cinder block wall.
